Ministerial Resolution No. (242) of 2020 was issued to update the list of notifiable communicable diseases, as the new list issued by the resolution was added instead of Schedule No. (1) attached to Federal Law No. (14) of 2014 on the Control of Communicable Diseases. Some names of dangerous diseases were added to the list, including diseases that require immediate reporting, such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome, Swine Flu, and Coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
