Ministerial Resolution No. (156) of 2021 on the Unified Health File (Riayati)

This resolution sets the definitions, content and components of the ‘Riayati’ health file system. It is a system dedicated to documenting health, personal and administrative information and data pertaining to each person receiving health services in a file of his own. This is made through a sustainable, secure and integrated manner with the aim of achieving the safety and quality of healthcare and with the aim of facilitating the use of such information and data by health service providers. The resolution covers the contents of the health file, including medical examinations and their results, diagnoses, medical observations, preventive services, and medical history. The health file system is formed of central records, a platform for sharing data, linking systems, a data indicator, an electronic portal and smart device applications for health professionals, in addition to a database and health information. Under the provisions of this resolution, health facilities licensed by the MOHAP must join the unified health file system, in accordance with the conditions that are set by the ministry.
