Recognizing the significance of women's health as an integral component of societal well-being, the Ministry of Health and Prevention is taking proactive measures to address the unique healthcare needs and challenges faced by women through the commencement of the preparation phase for the development of a comprehensive national policy aimed at promoting and enhancing the health and well-being of women across the nation. This groundbreaking initiative seeks to create a tailored and holistic approach to ensure the optimal health and wellness of women through a multi-sectoral national framework, in cooperation with various strategic partners.
This initiative aligns with the UAE's commitment to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages and providing women with Comprehensive preventive and curative Healthcare Services. These preparations, which coincide with the country’s celebrations of Emirati Women’s Day, come within the framework of the country’s efforts to provide the best levels of physical and psychological health for women, through the health policy that reflect on their positive health needs in all stages of their lives through its Vision: Best health and well-being for women and aim of: Developing a multisectoral national framework to promote women's health by ensuring access to the highest levels of preventive, curative and rehabilitative healthcare services throughout their life cycle in the UAE.
